With automatic delivery, we'll monitor your property's consumption of heating oil and schedule deliveries as needed to guarantee that you always have an adequate supply of oil on-hand. Our goal is to schedule a delivery when your tank has gone down to about 1/3 of its capacity.
The great thing about this plan is that it allows us to guarantee your price savings during the entire period you're registered with us. And it gives you one less thing to worry about.
Now automatic delivery does require a commitment until May 2011, but that covers you for two seasons. And it renews annually thereafter - unless you tell us not to - and it's subject to a small early termination fee of $199, if you should cancel your contract before May 2011.
Thanks for your interest in our Automatic Delivery Program!
Here are a couple additional questions to help us get you started:
Do you use oil to heat your hot water in addition to heating the property?
If yes, do you have a separate oil-fired hot water heater or do you have a boiler that provides both heat to the property and your hot water?
Where is the oil tank physically located?
When standing in front of the property looking at the front door, where does the fill pipe to the tank exit the property?
What size heating oil storage tank does your property have?
Most homes have a 275-gallon heating oil storage tank located either in the basement or outside of the house. Occasionally several tanks may be piped together with a single fill pipe, creating 550-gallons of fuel storage capacity.
Some homes have fuel storage tanks that have been buried underground which can make it difficult to determine their exact size. These tanks vary in size, but as a rule of thumb, for homes 2,000 sq. feet or smaller, they'll have a 275-gallon tank. Larger homes may have a 550 or even a 1,000 gallon tank.
If you're not sure about the size of your tank, just enter 275-gallons on the form and when we make our first delivery, we'll try to estimate your tank's actual capacity.
Please enter your tank size (in gallons):
Is your tank nearly or completely empty now?
Has your home received a delivery of fuel in the past two weeks?
The reason we ask this question is that if you are nearly empty, you become a priority delivery and it also tells our driver to be prepared to fill your tank.
Do you have more than one (1) heating oil storage tank located at your property?
We use this information to appropriately schedule the timing of your first fuel delivery.
When we make a delivery, our driver is looking for your fill pipe. Separate tanks are defined as tanks with individual fill pipes. For example, if you have two tanks, and each tank has its own fill pipe, then that would be classified as two tanks. If however you have two or more tanks that are piped together so that one fill pipe supplies them all, then that would be counted as a single tank because our driver only has to worry about finding the one fill pipe to supply your oil. Of course, this has no impact on the cost of your service.
Please enter the number of tanks:
Who was the previous oil supplier to the property?
Please enter the name of the supplier:
We ask for this information so that we can track your guaranteed future savings with our Advantage 40 Guarantee. This means that over the course of the year we guarantee you will save at least 40 cents per gallon on oil when compared to other full-service suppliers and compared to their regular non-discounted, non-hedged retail price for automatic delivery of #2 heating oil.
In order to track your specific future savings; please select the name of your previous supplier from our list of qualifying competitors from the pull-down list on the form - they're over 35 of them in our service territory.
You can also earn a $50 credit by sending us a copy of your last bill from that supplier. You can send a copy to us using this web site (just use the upload button if you've scanned it), fax it or just mail it to us.
